You'll also learn about the Many Worlds Theory.  Amongst the "Yes, I think Many Worlds Theory  is true" crowd listed are Stephen Hawking and Nobel Laureates Murray Gell-Mann and Richard Feynman.   Nobel Laureate Steven Weinberg is also a many-worlder.  This is the theory of parallel universes to account for many of the anomalies in Quantum Mechanics.

Also, as the story unfolds, you learn how to rise above adversity and overcome inner and outer resistance to success.

And you learn a little bit about dragons, mythology, alchemy, and human psychology. 

But more than anything else, you get to play the fascinating game of trying to figure it out as the story unfolds. 

My story is so unusual, so bizarre, and so quirky that it will expand your imagination.  The larger-than-life characters, numerous plot twists, and surprising resolutions will keep you entertained until the last page.

As I wrote it, everything hit a critical mass, and the science expanded itself, the philosophy gathered its own voice, and the characters started to take over, driven by their own internal logic.

Dr. Joseph Linus Ngugi Maina, a brilliant physicist from Kenya, Africa, has been expelled from his teaching position at a leading university in Colorado, framed by a malicious man, whose evil intentions are slowly revealed. 

Stripped of his dignity, deprived of his life’s work, his passion for study, research and teaching science, Joe has no idea what to do next to survive economically. 

Bewildered and alone, ostracized and exiled, he is about to make a shocking discovery. 

He receives an ancient book in the mail from an ex-lover, a beautiful and brilliant woman who has renounced the world and has taken up residency in a monastery in Asia. 

Using the occult techniques described in the book, he attains the capacity for lucid dream travel. 

During his first and only lucid dream trip, he discovers that dreams are real adventures in parallel universes and that almost anything is possible in them, including a woman who is a thought-form who desires to be real, a secret parchment that is at the heart of a cosmic conspiracy, and a one-sided mirror that reflects the light of consciousness and reveals previously unexplainable mysteries. 

Returning to the ordinary world, Joe has to face the pressures of his unemployment.  He is also nagged by his disappointment at forgetting the formulas to the holy grail of science, the Unified Field Theory, which was clearly explained to him in the parallel world.  And he is continuously distracted by  a constant stream of crises that arise because of the revengeful desires of demons from the parallel dimension.  They are determined to stop him from fulfilling his destiny as one of the greatest scientists in the history of the world.

As in any Indiana-Jones-sized story, the history of the entire world is at stake.
