The simplest way to describe it is this: what you believe, you will experience.
How does this happen? Is it magical thinking? Is it a delusion used by impotent people to give them hope?
No, the Law of Attraction is real enough. Long before it became popular with the launch of the movie, The Secret, Carl Jung described it through his essays on synchronicity.
The science behind it is this: like attracts like and unlike things repel. Thus, if you feel love, you will find people to love. If you feel rich, you will attract ideas on how to be rich. If you feel that you don't deserve love or riches, you will find that loneliness and poverty are your experience.
Another way to describe it, a metaphysical way, is that when your subconscious mind aligns with your superconscious mind, you will attract into your experience what you desire.
Now, in order to make the Law Of Attraction work for you, here are five rules of thumb that will speed it up.
One, you should not be needy. Instead, assume an attitude of having it now. When the "wanting" energy is high, it correlates with a feeling of lack. If, however, you were to escalate the "having" energy, the imagined experience of possessing it now, then it will push you out of feeling needy.
Two, be grateful for what you have. This will raise your vibrations and you will attract even more things in your life to be grateful for.
Three, you should not try to get what you want to be happy. Instead, be happy now, choose happiness regardless of what is currently happening, and then you will get what you want. This may sound like upside-down logic, but that is because almost everyone has it wrong. It is your emotional energy that will bring you what you want.
Four, take action. Just because you are visualizing it and feeling it now does not mean that you should not take action. If you want to win the lottery, you should take the action of buying a ticket.
Five, be at peace, avoid resisting life. The more you let go of pushing, the more you allow what you want to flow into your experience.
All other aspects of success thinking, from goal-setting to planning to learning from feedback are only footnotes to the Law of Attraction.
Success is the art of aligning with the Law of Attraction. |
