By Saleem Rana

Do you want to improve your life, but aren't sure where to start?

Discover 10 questions to understand how you can begin.

We all strive to be more.

Do you aspire for something deeper and more meaningful?

Here are 10 self-analysis questions to get you started.  .

1. What do I really want?

The question of the ages.  This fundamental question will help you review your past experiences and to project how you would like things to be.  Time waits for no man or woman, and unless you sort through your priorities, you'll just drift through life, merely reacting to things.   You can't create anything meaningful until you know what you want.

2. What needs to change?

Find a way to expand things you have some talent for.  Find ways to diminish the sore spots in your life.

What experience do you want to create?

What is worth working for?

3. What's the bright side to my current problem?

Every problem we have is a limitation based on a lack of skill to get the resources that we need.

If we have money problems, it is because we either need to learn how to earn money or manage our money better.

If we have relationship problems, we either need to learn how to communicate with someone else better or choose someone who understands us better.  In what ways can we improve communication or make better choices?

Thus, each challenge is a stimulus for growth.  We have hit a wall and life is forcing us to grow, expand, and be more.  So what is it that you can learn?  How is it that you need to grow?

4. Do I like what I'm doing?

What work are you doing?  Is it something you enjoy?  Does it bring out the best in you?  Do you see room for further growth?  If you are not doing what you enjoy, doing what brings out the best in you, doing what improves your life as you move into the future, then what is it that you would like to be doing, and how do you get there from where you are right now?  Perhaps, its time to consider some skills training you could do to improve your career and boost your income.

5. Have I done enough to fulfill my goals?

Review what you are currently doing to achieve your goals.  Can you increase time spent on them, your current outlay of resources, or get more specialized help from other people?  What can you do to add more oomph to your current goals?  Take it up a notch!

You do have goals, right?  If not, go back up to question one.  You need to get started on creating a life on purpose right away.

6. Who can I impact more positively today?

Do you need to be a better mother, father, brother, sister, friend, employer, employee, etc?  If so, how?

7. What can I do to be in better shape?

If you're not taking care of your body, you're also neglecting almost every other part of your life.  It's hard to be smart, energetic, and charming when you're out of touch with your body.  Physical health and vitality improves all aspects of your life?

8. What else can I do?

Where else can you add more value to your life?  What else can you do?

9. How much could I have?

You live in a world of infinite possibilities.  Do you have all the resources that you need?  What else can you get that would improve your life?  For example, do you need better software to manage your business and improve your profits?  If you can't afford it now, what can you do to be able to afford it a little later on?  Come up with some money making ideas.

10. What makes me happy?

Answering the other 9 questions should have answered this one for you…but if it hasn't here's another question you can ask yourself.
