How To Make More Money Off Google Adsense Free

Lesson 1:  Your Adsense Tool

I am going to provide you with information so startling that you are going to wonder if I have lost my mind in not charging for it.  Frankly, I'm not too certain if I'm doing the right thing either by making it free.  You see when things are free people do not make much effort to try to do what they need to succeed.  After all, it did not cost them anything.

However, there is a cost to this tutorial.  I'll explain it right now--so that we can get it out of the way and still remain friends.

There is a potential cost of $10,000 a month or more in lost revenue by not using the information I am going to share with you.  Once you get the hang of it, simply transform the web-page examples I'm going to show you into full-fledged websites or blogs. This way you'll be able to earn the big money.

While I do make money with adsense, I don't want you to envy me.  I want you to join me.  I am going to reveal to you information that I have never found in any of the adsense courses I have purchased. My goal is to show you far more than you can get in a paid course. 

The reason it is free--although I could easily charge $97 or more--is because I genuinely want to help people prosper online.  As you give, so you shall receive.  Hence, this tutorial is my way of giving back to those who have purchased any of my books, software, e-mail courses or multimedia products.

Marketing Principle 

Everything that I teach here is based on the following marketing principle:  when you give people what they want, they will give you what you want.

The Three Main Players

Here are the three key players involved in adsense. 

One, the visitor, who is hungry for information that you can provide in what can be a very challenging life situation.  For example, one of the niches is legal services.  If you can show the visitor how to get the best legal services by acting as an advisor, not of law, but of legal resources available to them, you will be helping them immensely.  Thus, this is not only about money, but about putting your heart into it as well. 

Two, the advertisers.  They pay Google big bucks to help them spread the word about their services.  Google, in turn, will pay you a portion of that revenue to organize websites that help the advertisers represent their business.  Consider these advertisers to be your friends.  Help them to help others who need their services.  You do this by providing top quality content.

Three, Google.  Google will pay you handsomely to provide their clients, people who use their search engines and people who advertise with them, highly relevant content.  Your job is not to sell anything but provide great content for Google's visitors and for their advertisers.  Google will send spiders to check out your content website.  Respect Google.  Don't get involved in shady things like click fraud and black hat S.E.O.  Follow their ethos of "do no evil."  There is so much money available when you do things the correct, ethical way, that it makes no sense to use short-cuts.  If you do use short-cuts, you risk the opportunity to share in Google's generous business plan.  Many marketers, hustling for a quick buck, seduce their innocent, desperate-to-make-money subscribers to try "sexy, maverick" ways to earn money.  Avoid getting suckered into playing these "survival games".  Everything you need to make money in a straightforward way is here for you.  The 5 niches I'll show you will pay you very well.

Give this course your full attention.  It can take care of all your financial needs if you let it.  Apply yourself.  Since this is a brief course, you may need to go through Google's extensive tutorials, as well, if you are completely new to adsense revenue.  I am sharing all this information with you because it is my hope that you are filled with the grit, tenacity, and enthusiasm to learn all you can and do your best to succeed online.

The Shadow Side Of Gurus & Adsense Courses

This tutorial assumes that you know a little about Google adsense.  If you are completely new to adsense, you'll find links on this page to Google's adsense tutorials, where you can catch up on this revenue model.  For now, just follow along as best you can.  It will all soon become clear to you how you have found a very profitable business idea.

The bitter truth is that most people make very little google adsense revenue.   

Although the books, courses, and manuals on adsense training point out how profitable it can be, most adsense gurus simply don't tell you how they make $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, or even $20,000 a month from their adsense revenue.  These people aren't lying.  They have plenty of proof on their websites.  They just aren't telling you exactly what they do.  I'm not sure why they don't give you a complete blueprin and why they don't tell you exactly what to do.  Anyway don't despair, I'm going to tell you in this tutorial what to do and how to do it.

Here is what generally happens after you take these courses:  Once you put adsense on your website, you find that you only get paid an average about 20 cents a click.  Also, you find that it is not easy to create hundreds of pages of original content with adsense on them. If you are lucky, you average about $15 to $30 a month.

There are two main plans gurus recommend to make money with adsense. 

One idea is to find high paying keywords. Most of the good ones average around $25 a click, although sometimes you can find even higher paying keywords.

The other idea is to find some article packs and slap them onto your website. 

These two techniques have some serious short-comings not mentioned in these high-priced courses.   

High Paying Keywords 

Many high paying keywords are spread across professions that require high expertise.  Those that pay well, for example, are keywords related to loans, credit cards, lawyers, insurance, and mortgage.  It takes years of schooling and work experience to be an expert in any these fields.  In addition, the popularity of keywords fades.  So you have to keep them updated as interest rises and falls for certain aspects.  Here's an example.  Last year "Vioxx Lawsuits" paid handsomely.  This year, it doesn't.  Why?  It's simply because it is no longer a hot issue and less people are looking for it. 

Massive Websites 

While it is possible to build hundreds of pages of content through buying article packs and offers of that nature, you are also offering visitors little that is unique.  Also, since hundreds, perhaps thousands of people are using those same pages, you have a lot of competition.  Furthermore, many of these articles have been written by people who consider English as a second language.  Thus, visitors come to think that because your name is on the article that you have trouble expressing yourself clearly and are terrible at both spelling and grammar.  Finally, many of these articles are not relevant to the keywords you are offering up with them. 

Another problem may be that Google can issue a duplicate content penalty.  The jury is still out on exactly how it works.  Some experts contend that it is an urban legend.  Others say that it is something that Google will eventually crack down on.  If this happens, hundreds or thousands of your pages become obsolete overnight. 

Our Strategy:  Using The Best Of Both Worlds

This tutorial, however, is NOT about telling you how you can't make big money with Google adsense.  On the contrary, it is going to tell you some powerful ways to start earning money.  Since it's kept deliberately short, sparing you from information overload, you might even be able to get started today. 

The basic method is to get around the limitations of both ideas.  

I'm going to teach you how  to do that mainly by way of examples.  Basically, then copy what I'm doing...but magnify the core ideas to a much bigger scale.  

The first example, I want to give you is layout.  Look at this page.  You will see lots of Google ads that have been blended into this article.   

These ads have been blended into matching the look-and-feel of this web-page.  This way, they are perceived by the reader not as a blatant money making plan, but as helpful links that they can click on.  They "add" resources to the web-page.  They don't "pitch" you to buy something now! 

Notice, too, how I am using the full allotment of ads allowed by Google.  Google allows 1 link ad and three unit ads.  This is important.  Use as many ad types as Google allows.  Otherwise you're just leaving money on the table.  But don't use more because then you risk getting banned for breaking Google's rules.  Follow Google's number one rule of "do no evil." 

Also note that these ads match the placement offered by Google's heat map.  That is, near the top, toward the center, and at the bottom. 

Since this article is about adsense.  The Google bots are pulling that word from this article and automatically serving up relevant ads.

Research Techniques

So how do you put all this together, create your own Virtual Real Estate Empire and make a fortune in passive adsense income? 

The first thing is research.  You've already started the process by reading this tutorial.  Next, go to Google itself.  http://www.google.com/ads . You'll find much more than I can cover here on how adsense works.  However, what you're getting here is a strategy on how to use adsense that is not offered on their main site.   They give you the big picture and details on how to get started and how to customize your adsense ads.   

The second bit of research you need to do is to find information from a keyword research tool.  There are hundreds out there.  Many are free.  Here's a popular one to show you what they look like.  http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion 

In the table below is what your researched keyword list will look like.  Since this is an adsense tutorial, I'll just use that keyword itself as an example. 

So, if you were doing research on "google adsense," this is how your spreadsheet will look.

Here is a quick explanation of the columns.

Keyword indicates what people are looking for in the search engines.

Searches indicates the number of people who searched for that singular keyword or long tail keyword phrase.

CPC is cost per click or how much people using adwords expect to pay for each click. This is a good indication of your earnings. The higher the CPC, the more you will get paid when people click on your adsense ad. This is how you know if you're using a high paying keyword or a dud.

By now, you may be feeling a little overwhelmed and wonder if you should abandon adsense altogether as entirely "too geeky!"

Here is some good news--I've done all the keyword research work for you. On each of the other lessons, the example sites, you'll find a "keyword gift basket." Here you can get the most profitable keywords. Just bookmark the page and cut and paste what you need. These are freshly researched.

Finally, the third kind of research you can do is for content. You can get free content articles from article directories. You can also compile your own articles based on your research of content. (Which is what I have done because I wanted my content to be unique.) A well-know adsense guru told me that if you take an article and post in comments before the article, comments in the middle, and comments after the author's biography, the search engine spiders will consider it a unique work. I don't know whether this is true or not...you can look into it more.

Now, before you go to the example sites, here is what I suggest. For each web-page you see create an entire website around it. Thus, instead of having one page on your keywords like I have to show you an example, create a 10 to 50 page website, or more if you like. The more pages, the more keywords, and the more money you'll make. Both the Google spiders and your human visitors will find it highly relevant.

Here's a tip to make even more money. Use a keyword phrase as your url. For example, if I were making a website from this tutorial on adsense, I would call it, www.google-adsense-revenue-plan.com or something similar if that domain was not available. 

Summary 

One, go to http://www.google.com/ads and find out how to set up an adsense account.

Two, do keyword research or just use the words I will be giving you in each of the other lessons.

Three, create a website around a keyword, using a keyword itself as the domain name. This will have a huge benefit. People searching for that keyword in the search engines will be delighted to find an entire website around it. You will get heavy traffic.

Four, investigate websites and article directories for content to add to match your keyword. Google will want to know how relevant your keyword is to content about it. If you have a $25 keyword on legal services but an article on sports, you will upset those looking for information and the search engine spiders will not consider it relevant. Always remember, your articles in your website should offer value to both human visitors and search engine spiders.

Use the ideas I'm offering you here. If you put in some work, you can make a good living simply from adsense websites alone.
You'll just do the work once and get paid for it over and over again.

Now that we've got the basics covered the rest of the lessons are going to be an introduction to high paying niches, an example of what makes good content, and high paying keywords for you to start making money right away.
